Dx – Aphthous ulcer

• Usually single or few lesions on non keratinized areas of mouth like buccal mucosa, mucobuccal fold, floor of mouth, under and on the sides of the tongue, and on the soft palate.
• The centre is ulcered with a yellow or gray pseudomembrane and is encircled by a thin red rim or halo.
